After spending a few nights in Bangkok we flew down to Phuket to meet up with some good friends we lived with in Yaounde. We caught our shuttle from the airport and drove for what seemed like forever to our amazing resort, The Moevenpick. Our three nights there were a dream. We spent a full day on some little island out in the middle of the ocean. It was as perfect as perfect could get. Aydan learned to snorkel and we all loved every minute of our lives. We celebrated Elise’s 18th birthday by a trip up the mountain for an elephant ride.
We also went up to see the big Buddha.
This picture shows the one thing I was disappointed in while in Thailand, their electrical wires were still as messed up as here in Manila, well, maybe a bit more organized. This is the entrance to our amazing resort.
